ONE MAN BAND

PEDRITONEWHEEL

A spanish street entertainer for more than 20 years…I started in england performing in covent garden with a unicycling show, thats where the name comes from..later in spain performed in many places and festivals around, also sometimes busking with this circus show…that i still perform.

Next creation…Gzarkuk “the misterious one man band” a kind of one man band in between Medieval and Mad max in a three wheel vehicle made by the artist…the character is very special… He speaks his own languaje , talks with the birds and plays many instruments like bagpipes,flute, diatonic accordion, percussion and more..

He creates a very special atmosphere on its way around..people say is ” MAGICAL “.I worked in many special places around Spain mostly medieval fairs and street theatre festivals for at least 15 years..and yet people loves it.

Later came DON BOZINON a onemanband with horns at the back..i made up the instrument myself and weights more than 20 kgs and requires a great skill to play it well..with more than 20 horns, drum and other percussion played at the same time.

I play mostly well know songs, all in a very funny way..it sounds powerful and precise and fits very well in very crowded areas, sport events, fairs, festivals,etc

PEDRITONEWHEEL MAN BAND comes next..a very complicated funny One man band with lots of sounds and based on music played with diatonic accordion plus percussion, drums,harmonica, kazoo, whistles and more.

I have 2 midi barrel organs one made by myself and the other a portable hand cranked..i learned to make music for them so i can play many songs that i recovered..like vasque songs, children, traditional, irish, scotish ,medieval, also my own songs and of course well known barrel organ tunes..it has taken me a long time and effort to make them up..so althought it plays by itself there is a lot of work and investigation behind.

GZARKUK “THE MISTERIOUS ONE MAN BAND”

GZARKUK is a very special character .. a itinerant onemanband that speaks his own languaje that you only understand when you let yourself go by your imagination when he passes by..in a three wheel vehicle full of instruments and strange things..with sounds of nature , birds ,wind…he sings, makes poetry and plays many instruments: bagpipes, flute , diatonic accordion ,drum , percussion..and bird whistles..creating a magical atmosphere around…

This character i combine with Gzarkuk in medieval markets..is funny, and i play diatonic accordion with a nose whisle mask ..imitating bird sounds and playing songs with it .i also wear percussion in my foot as usual…

DON BOZINON

A onemanband with horns..hilarious..funny and with a very powerful sound. A instrument tailor made by the artist ..years of development and practice to get this unique instrument.

Playing songs that everybody knows..fanfarre..himnes..childrens..tv… with a 25 kgs device at his back: drums, percussion and horns. Is different to anything made before..perfect for crowded areas..fairs..festivals…sport events.

PEDRITONEWHEEL MAN BAND

It’s a onemanband wich major instrument is a diatonic accordion Bb-Eb… home made drum at the back with special effects on it..lights, fireworks, door ring bell, water fountain, bubbles, animal samples..etc. every foot has its own percussion : tambourine , castanets etc… all very well balanced.

With the mouth i play lots of funny whistles, harmonica, kazoo, horns and more..it’s heavy an complicated to play well..it has taken years of onemanband evolution to get to this and it won’t be the last…as i have other ideas in mind…

I can combine with DON BOZINON if interested and i do itinerant shows 30 -45 min. long.

BARREL ORGAN

I have 2 midi barrel organs one is in the front picture and made it by myself …it has 3 octaves and lots of songs that i made up for it , some from scratch and others thanks to my research…i took me some time to learn this and every song needs a long time on it..there are traditional spanish songs, irish, scottish, medieval, childrens, Xmas and of course well known barrel organ tunes..that i combine with other instruments at the same time..also my own spanish funny poetry.

This is my second barrelorgan hand crancked …it sounds sweet and is portable….medieval songs are beautiful on it…it has less pipes than the other one.. but is perfect as it is…I arranged irish songs … vasc and traditional spanish songs for it also.

The first one is static and is perfect for fairs, festivals, etc , the small one i combine with Gzarkuk “the misterious one man band” …Or the funny chararacter PICO FLAUTA.. if there is a medieval fair..
